I found that flashing my work ID works for getting out of tickets. Twice I've shown my badge when pulled over for speeding and been sent on my way - no hassle, no ticket. One of the two times, I was actually waved back on to the expressway by the kind officer who stepped into on coming traffic to slow them while motioning me ahead of them.
